It’s a Millenium thing!
The Millenium Chapter of Rose Croix had their recent meeting at the Masonic Hall in Clevedon, where they received a presentation by Ian Evans on the Ancient and Accepted Rite, which was recevied extremely well, with many attendees requesting a copy for them to read at their leisure. David Mason the IG also talked about how he wanted this Chapter to be a place to learn and to invite Wives and Partners to one of the meetings each year.
After the short meeting the members and maany of their wives and partners joined together to receive another brief talk from Lucy of the Childrens Hospice South-West, a charity close to may members hearts, particularly Keith Baker, the current MWS of MIllenium and of course the District Recorder. After the Talk (which was thought provoking and left several people reaching for a Tissue) a cheque for £500 was presented to her, followed by a lovely meal prepared by Zena and Neil which was enjoyed by all.

Milennium Chapter is for Brethren who have been MWS and are 30° or higher, or are currently MWS of their Chapter, but all are welcome to visit as a guest. They meet twice a year in centres around the Province, the next meeting is on 10th October at Nailsea, when the IG David Mason will be Enthroned as the MWS of Millenium Chapter.
