Inspector General District of Somerset

I am delighted to extend a very warm welcome to our website for the District of Somerset which we trust will provide up to date information for our members whilst providing an insight into our Order by interested parties.

Until my formal Installation I am Inspector General Designate in Charge and oversee the 19 Chapters within the District of Somerset on behalf of Supreme Council. There is therefore a Rose Croix Chapter within easy reach of most parts of the district.

Whilst the 18th or Rose Croix Degree, which is the entry point for the Order, is based on the life of Jesus Christ the lessons taught within it are relevant to all of us. The Order is therefore open to Freemasons of all religions.

Brethren wishing to join this beautiful Order will find that the emphasis is on members who maintain the quality, friendliness and warmth of the Order. The ritual is colourful and dramatic, the messages taught within it sincere and thought provoking. Members tell me that this is an Order which they cherish and love.
