It’s Thirty Three and a Third (Fourth) at Millenium Chapter Rose Croix.

At the recent meeting of the Millennium Chapter Rose Croix, no less than four 33° Masons were there including 2 current Inspector Generals, David Mason & Paul Kelvin-Smith (IG for South Wales and Monmouthshire) plus 2 former IG’s, Ray Johnston-Smith & Clive Lambert. As well as a plethora of other higher degrees. Also John Housden the Current Provincial head of the Red Cross of Constantine, Phil Voisey PrGM of the Mark Degree and none other than the PrGM & MEGS for Somerset our very own Ray Guthrie.

Why were there so many there? You may well ask, it was to see Keith Baker take the Chair as Sovereign for the forthcoming year.

Keith was installed in fine fashion by Steve Merryweather the outgoing Sovereign, ably helped by Russell Biss DC, Richard Ellis and Steve Poland Recorder.

Keith then went on to install his officers in his usual friendly style, always with a smile and grateful handshake. He also reminded everyone of the upcoming Christmas Carol Service at All Saints Church on the 10th December, full details can be found here.

The meeting was then followed by a very informative talk about the Cromwell street Murders, although a tad gruesome, it did not put anyone off a lovely Roast Beef Luncheon.

Millenium Chapter meets twice per year at various halls around the Province, it is a higher degree order, to join you have to be a MWS or 30° Mason and above, but visitors are welcome if you are in Rose Croix
