30th degree – April 2026
On 28th April a very happy band of brothers boarded the train and headed for Duke Street, London where now illustrious brothers David Dixon, Andy Wade, and Peter Wright were promoted to the 30th°. They were accompanied by the inspector general, very illustrious brother David Mason 33°, the past inspector general, very illustrious brother Bro Clive Lambert 33°, the district recorder, illustrious brother Keith Baker 31, and illustrious brothers Steve Merryweather 32, and Richard Kilbutrn 30.
A fabulous day. It all started in the Duke Street changing room, and not wishing to give anything away, ended in spectacular, informative and interesting fashion in the Grand Temple. If you are undecided about progressing to Most Wise Sovereign to qualify for the 30th degree, then please let the smiles on the faces of David, Andy and Peter help guide your decision towards doing so. You will definitely not regret your decision 🙂
Dining was at Mark Masons hall where the catering team delivered a truly mouthwatering feast to at least 300 Brethren, with clockwork efficiency. This masterclass in logistics was complimented by an equally as impressive masterclass in directing events, with very illustrious brother Surg Cdr N F J Scott-Moncrieff, the Grand Director of Ceremonies moving things along. The meal ended with a very enjoyable address from Most Puissant Sovereign Grand Commander Brother John Boyington.
