Several Somerset members receive their 30° at Duke St
Four members of Rose Croix, Somerset, went to London to receive their 30° at Duke St. Tony Walford (St D & St D), Jim Weedon (William De Irwin), Jim McNally (Harry Franklin) David Maddern (Estune).

Unfortunately Jim Mcnally had to leave before the main picture was taken, but not to leave him out here is below. The meal was held at Mark Masons Hall, which is always a treat

Many people say that the 30° ceremony is one of the best in Freemasonry and is well worth the trip to London to receive the award. Duke St, where the ceremony is held, was purposefully built for the higher degree ceremonies, with several ante rooms used throughout the ceremony.
Also all members of the Supreme Council 33° are usually in attendance and perform the ceremony, which makes it special in itself!
