Nick is Perfected at William de Irwin

At their recent meeting in Weston s Mare, Nicholas Reed of the Rural Philanthropic Lodge was Perfected into the William De Irwin Chapter, Rose Croix. The night was memorable for several reasons, the Inspector General David Mason was there and it was the first meeting in many years without several of the Chapter Grandees who help out with the ritual.

However Jim Weedon the MWS (after having recently spent several days in hospital, due to a heart issue) was in fine form and conducted most of the work, helped by Justin Pursey, brillantly explaining the Intermediate Degrees, and an explanayion of the Signs by Ian Evans. Nathan Henderson a guest admirably strood in as Prelate due to the absence of the current Chapter Prelate.

Steve Poland the DC was also on form, leading the Chapter in the “Poland” way!

David Mason presented a Supreme Council Certificate to Justin weaver and then the Thirs Point in his own special way!

The evening was rounded off in fine style with a sumptious roast chicken dinner and lots of laughter and revelry amongst friends and brothers.
